As with A Forja, the menu covers traditional Portuguese food at a great price and cooked beautifully. The steaks here are superb; my favourite is Steak with Pepper Sauce (under €10). The only problem here is that although the food here is superb the service can be slow and because it is a small restaurant there can often be a long wait in a queue outside the restaurant before you get seated at a table. It is definitely worth a dinner or 2 here. Huge portions, quality food and all provided by one chef who loves he's cooking. This place is a mecca for anyone who knows or finds out about it. The signature dish of prawns in spicy coconut sauce is a must. |
